Returns & Refunds Policy

At Short & Sweeter Collective, we want you to feel confident and happy with every purchase. If something’s not quite right, we’ll do our best to make it right.

30-Day Return Policy

You have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return. To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition as when you received it, unworn or unused, with tags still attached, and in its original packaging. A receipt or proof of purchase is also required.

Please note that we do not offer refunds for change of mind. However, we’re always happy to discuss your concerns and see how we can assist.

All returns will be filmed when unboxing to prove received quality of goods.

How to Start a Return

To begin a return, please contact us at hello@shortandsweetercollective.com. Once your return is accepted, we’ll provide the return address and instructions. Items sent to us without first contacting us will not be accepted.

Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty or damaged. For international returns, customers are responsible for ensuring the item is adequately packaged and for any associated customs declarations or duties incurred during the return process.

Damaged or Faulty Items

Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if your item is faulty, not as described, or does not perform as expected.

If you receive an item that is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please contact us immediately. You must provide sufficient photographic evidence of the issue within 7 business days of receiving your item so we can assess the situation and resolve it.

If your claim is approved, Short & Sweeter Collective will cover the return shipping costs for any faulty or damaged item confirmed with evidence during this timeframe.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued in the form of store credit only for general returns.

A monetary refund will only be issued if the item is confirmed to be faulty or damaged, unless the customer prefers an exchange instead. Refunds approved for this reason will be processed back to the original payment method.

Once your return is received and inspected, you will be notified of the outcome. If approved, your refund will be processed within 10 business days, although please note that it may take additional time for your bank or card provider to complete the transaction.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, please get in touch at hello@shortandsweeter.com.

Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, we recommend returning the original item first. Once the return is accepted, you can place a new order for the correct size. Exchanges are subject to availability.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Additionally, certain types of items are not eligible for return, including perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), personal care items (such as beauty products), hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases, and custom or personalised items.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order was shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason. Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, unworn, with tags, and in original packaging, and must be accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.
